Self-Presentation as the Key to Success – Full-Day Workshops for Students of Hugo Kołłątaj High School in Pińczów
On April 24, we visited Pińczów.
“`htmlFull-day career guidance workshops devoted to self-presentation were held at the Hugo Kołłątaj General Secondary School in Pińczów. The meeting was prepared for students with migration experience (from Poland and Ukraine) who are facing important decisions concerning further education, entering the labour market, and building their personal image.
The main topic of the workshops was self-presentation – the ability to consciously present oneself, one’s strengths, interests and competencies. Students learned the principles of effective communication, creating a positive first impression, and building confidence in school and professional situations.
During the sessions, young people worked on oral presentations, speaking style, body language, and preparation for job interviews and presentations. Participants also analysed how to properly present their achievements, passions, and potential when applying to universities or future jobs.
The workshops were conducted with several student groups by employees of the Integration Europe – East Association. The meetings had a practical and engaging character – participants had the opportunity to discuss with employers and received guidance on developing social and professional skills.
