Educational Corner delivered to Tadeusz Kościuszko Primary School No. 15 in Kielce
Polish-language textbooks, games and educational materials will support everyday work with students and help build relationships in a multicultural school. On 16 October 2026, representatives of the Integration Europe–East Association, the regional operator of the second module of the “Friendly School” programme, delivered an Educational Corner to Tadeusz Kościuszko Primary School No. 15 in Kielce.
On 16 October 2026, Tadeusz Kościuszko Primary School No. 15 in Kielce received an Educational Corner as part of “Friendly School – Świętokrzyskie”. This collection of textbooks, games and materials is designed to make learning Polish easier, support integration and help students feel more at home in everyday school life.
The Corner was delivered by representatives of the Integration Europe–East Association – the regional operator of the second module of the “Friendly School” programme. The materials will remain at the school, ready to be used in future language lessons, individual learning and shared classroom activities.
Understanding lessons more easily, speaking up with confidence
Asking a question, understanding an instruction, explaining an idea or joining a conversation with classmates – these are the situations in which knowing Polish makes a difference every day. For children and young people with migrant and refugee backgrounds, learning the language also means learning how to navigate a new school environment.
The Corner contains textbooks and resources for learning Polish as a foreign language, selected to suit different proficiency levels. They are intended to support both everyday communication and the development of vocabulary needed for individual school subjects. This means they can help address specific difficulties: from understanding short statements to reading tasks independently and formulating answers.
Playing together is also a chance to get to know one another
The Educational Corner offers more than language-learning materials. Its resources also include games and learning aids focused on integration, cultural diversity and communication between people from different cultures. These are complemented by printed project publications and materials supporting work with students from other countries.
A shared task or game can be a starting point for conversation, cooperation and learning about another person’s experiences. Using the materials in this way is intended to create opportunities for children to learn not only alongside one another, but also from one another. This is an important goal of the Corner: to combine learning with building relationships and mutual understanding.
Support that stays at the school
The donated resources can be used during language lessons, individual learning and small-group sessions. They are also intended to be accessible to teachers, intercultural assistants and parents. In this way, the Corner provides a lasting collection of resources for everyday work, which can be used according to students’ needs.
We would like to thank the community of Tadeusz Kościuszko Primary School No. 15 in Kielce for the meeting and their cooperation. We hope the materials will support many shared lessons, conversations and discoveries.
Support for the school community
The “Friendly School” programme combines activities for students with support for teaching staff and parents. We publish information about meetings, consultations and educational materials on the project website.
