Anti-Discrimination Training for Teachers from Starachowice
Another training session dedicated to preventing exclusion and discrimination in the school environment was held this time in Starachowice. The meeting took place on 21 April 2026 and involved several teachers from Primary School No. 12 in Starachowice.
The work with the teaching staff had a workshop format. Under the guidance of Dr Katarzyna Krzystanek, teachers worked on real-life examples, analysed situations from everyday school life, and jointly searched for solutions supporting the creation of a safe and open environment for all students.
A School Free from Exclusion
Special emphasis was placed on recognising subtle forms of exclusion such as peer isolation, stereotyping, or exclusionary language. Participants also discussed how to respond to difficult classroom situations and how to strengthen attitudes based on respect, empathy, and responsibility for the school community.
Such meetings are an important element of supporting schools in their everyday educational and integration work. They make it possible not only to broaden knowledge, but also to jointly develop practical tools that can be used when working with students, parents, and the entire school community.
