The Idea of the INTEURO Youth Career Incubator

The Career Incubator is a place where young people learn not only how to plan their future but also how to take conscious action for the benefit of others. Within the incubator, we promote engagement in non-governmental organisations, school and local volunteering, civic activities, youth councils and participation in social projects. Activity in the third sector is one of the most valuable development pathways — young people gain soft skills, experience, responsibility and often their first recommendations.

Workshop scope

The workshops include, among others:
– basics of the labour market,
– self-presentation and communication,
– building self-confidence,
– creating a CV, educational profile and social activity portfolio,
– identifying personal strengths,
– working with activating and developmental methods.

In every module, we emphasise that experience gained through volunteering and NGO work is just as important (and often more important) than paid work at school age.
