Learning Together, Building Closer Relationships. An Educational Corner at Primary School No. 18 in Kielce

Playing a game together means understanding the rules, asking questions and explaining your ideas. These situations offer opportunities to practise language through interaction and encourage cooperation. The Educational Corner is designed to provide materials that can be used in precisely this way.

The initiative is delivered by the Europe–East Integration Association, the regional project operator under the “Friendly School” programme. The resources are intended to support students with migration experience and people working with a multicultural school community.

Materials for Learning and Working Together

The corner combines textbooks and resources for learning Polish as a foreign language with games and materials that support integration and intercultural communication. They can be used in language lessons, individual work and small-group activities.

The materials will remain at the school for repeated use. They allow teachers and students to revisit selected topics, reinforce vocabulary and choose activities that meet students’ current needs.

A Space for Learning Together

Within the project, Educational Corners also serve as places for shared learning and intercultural dialogue. Language support goes hand in hand with opportunities to get to know one another and build relationships. Games and group activities can help children with different linguistic and cultural backgrounds take part in shared activities.
