An Educational Corner for the School Complex in Kostomłoty Drugie
On 22 October 2026, the School Complex in Kostomłoty Drugie received a “Friendly School – Świętokrzyskie” Educational Corner. The materials are intended to support Polish language learning and shared activities.
Understanding instructions, reading a text or sharing an idea requires language skills. For pupils starting school in Poland, these are important everyday challenges. Resources for learning Polish as a foreign language are intended to help develop the skills needed both in lessons and when talking to peers.
The initiative at the School Complex in Kostomłoty Drugie was carried out by the Europe–East Integration Association – the regional project operator under the “Friendly School” programme. The materials collected in the Educational Corner are intended for children with migration experience and the people who support their learning and adjustment to everyday school life.
Polish in lessons and everyday conversations
Materials from the Educational Corner can be used in language classes, individual work and small group sessions. They give teachers more scope to choose activities suited to each pupil’s needs and level of Polish.
Resources that stay at school
The Educational Corner provides resources for repeated use in everyday teaching. Games and materials for shared activities can be a starting point for conversation, cooperation and getting to know one another. In this way, language learning goes hand in hand with building relationships in the classroom.
