Preparing teachers from the Świętokrzyskie region to work with foreign students

Teacher training at Primary School No. 1 named after Stanisław Staszic in Kielce

On March 17, 2026, a training session and on-site workshops for the teaching staff were held at Primary School No. 1 named after Stanisław Staszic in Kielce. The training focused on working with foreign students and preventing children’s addiction to multimedia and digital devices.

The meeting had a practical character. Participants were able to deepen their knowledge about the challenges faced by students with migration experience and learn effective methods of supporting them in the educational and integration process within the school environment.

During the workshops, a very current topic was also discussed: children’s addiction to multimedia devices. Teachers and school specialists learned how to recognize the first symptoms of the problem, how to react in situations of excessive technology use, and how to support students and their families in developing healthy digital habits.

The training was conducted by psychologist Dr. Katarzyna Krzystanek, who specializes in working with children and young people as well as issues related to mental health, education, and addiction prevention.
